Has anyone noticed how nothing seems to be free anymore? It has been creeping, and creeping, and creeping into our pocketbooks and now, I am noticing everything is charging. I just went to upload a new song to SoundCloud and they prompted me to pay annually to save 47%. If I paid by month, it would be $16.00 per month. Netflix is going up, Hulu, Disney, and as a self-employed person we firsthand have to deal with the repercussions of increasing prices because our customers complain! Mind you, I am not one to keep someone who is seeking budget over quality and, I personally believe in the magic of what it means to support local makers, small artisans, and those on the fringes of society who decided to make art their living and, I am so sick and tired of corporations. That is why I decided it was time to part ways with Google.
Recently, I came to find my Google Storage was full. They kicked me off of receiving emails, and I had to purchase more storage. Always more storage. Now if you are anything like me and have an upwards of 70,000 photos and memories (mostly screenshots of ideas mind you) that need to be sorted and catalogued, then you may grasp how daunting a switch like this feels. But it is not, and I am going to tell you know to do it so you are equipped with info, because I am done and want to be off of this ride stat.

Things and people I am overjoyed to support:
Celebrating: Julie Cloutier on Clayfulness. Her post on the 3 things she does every month added so much value to my life and I personally have created my very own calendar, reconnecting to something I love which is pen on paper.
Looking forward to: An upcoming breathwork experience with Jenna, local to the area I now reside in. Breathwork is something that I have always been curious about and now that my asthma is kicked up with the covids, I am ever curious to lean into a different modality of meditation with breath. Early bird sign up is going on now and you can learn more here: Breathwork
